Going through some highs and lows, holding on to inspiration, sharing new ideas, deciding upon what you want and what you are afraid of, confusion of CAN DO & CANNOT DO are the points to ponder upon. With amalgamation of thoughts and dreams we put a foot forward to begin a new life in a new world. But all that expected is not all that happens always. We may plan to learn new skills and develop creative intellect. Read on to find out what actually happens-
Coffee O’ Clock Time:
Tapping a friend on the opposite shoulder when there was no one there. Hiding the tray under the table. Fighting and sometimes ending up spilling coffee. Singing your favourite songs … was all that we did in the cafeteria whenever the boss was off to his meeting.
“Me Perfect Selfies” everyday:
Yup!! We are a generation of pouts and selfies. How can we fail to post a selfie on facebook every other second.….Lol!!! After all, we got to show all the hard work that we were doing during my internship span. Yeeeii. And of course how can I forget associating those “fashionably dressed selfies” with deep yet irrelevant quotes, which could never form a correlation.
The curious case of emails:
<from:> stranger!!! (a client or boss) >
<subject:> Something you gotta do……
<to:> Oh! Ahemm??
And all those links,,,,web pages,,log in and log off were so peculiar and new to us which always left us in wonder, thinking “Y these people are talking over laptops on mails while they are sitting face-to-face:-p.”
The “no clue” for job factor:
“Those who don’t do anything, do wonders” might be the exact definition for my internship because I could hardly ever know what my job was. And so I ended up having fun with fellow interns. I might have looked like I was doing nothing but actually I was patiently waiting to have fun time with fellow interns.
Crushing over the cute boss:
Melt-my-heart smile, deep voice, broad shoulders, dressed in a dapper suit. How could you not crush on him??!!! Stalking him on facebook, having a secret code name for him and having imaginary conversations with him in our heads so if ever we had a real conversation, we’d be prepared.
